Vipassana retreat February 2005

Meditation Retreat
With Adrianne Ross
(non-residential)
February 11-13, 2005

This weekend vipassana retreat is suitable for both beginning and experienced students of meditation, and will be led by Adrianne Ross. Dr. Ross has been practicing since 1984 when she was first trained by Jack Kornfield. Her own practice has been influenced by a variety of traditions including Dzogchen, and she has taught widely in Canada and in the United States. In her Family Medicine practice in Vancouver she teaches mindfulness-based stress reduction to people with chronic pain and illness.

The weekend retreat, in the Bentley Centre on the Campus of the University of Northern British Columbia, will be preceded on Friday February 11th at 7:30m p.m. by a free public lecture.

The Saturday and Sunday non-residential retreat will have a vegetarian lunch provided, but retreatants with special dietary needs will need to pack their own box lunches.
